This is a system of derivatives from a fixed set of inputs.

The mould consists of a set of forms that can be used independently or in conjunction to create a series of derivatives from the same set of variables.

Therefore, it is about investigating the beauty in finding a methodological way of constructing the forms, resulting in a large number of possible outcomes.

The mould is thus constructed to provide a variability in creating different forms that merge into one whole, individual composites that unite coherently.

This series of photographs display the evolution during the course from the exploration of spontaneous form making to a systematized approach, where even the variations are systematized.

The spontaneity in these figures investigates form with respect to exaggerations and the imaginative power of the mind, with respect to scale and dimensions.

The concept gradually changes from spontaneity to the exploration of the beauty of rationalised forms, the beauty in the organisation of their construction.

The idea of similarity is explored, where small, calculated changes are employed to the forms. Thus, the notion of rational variation and derivatives from the same idea takes place.
